RECOGNIZING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

TRIPLE A

The “Triple A” program stands for Academics, Attendance, and Attitude.  It was started by teachers as a way to reward students who do not receive an ‘F’ on their grade card, have good attendance, and have never been assigned detention, ISS, or OSS or a Bus Referral in one nine week grading period.  These students are given the opportunity to participate in a special activity.  This nine weeks the students will have the opportunity to attend a roller skating party during one school day.

PIZZA WITH THE PRINCIPAL

The Boosters pay for this program.  Students who do something special, do well on a special assignment, help someone with a project, just had a good day or just got caught being good have an opportunity to put their name in the box in the office.  Each month thirty names are drawn to have pizza with Mr. Spence and Mr. Touvell.  This has been a positive reward for all students regardless of ability.
