Student and Parent Information Concerning Proficiency Testing

HOW CAN I HELM MY CHILD AT HOME IN PREPARING FOR THE

PROFICIENCY TESTS?

1.     Be sure that your child gets plenty of rest and eats a good breakfast on each day of testing.

2.     Encourage him/her to take their time and double-check all answers.

3.     Recommend that your child answer the easier questions first, so that he/she can spend more time on the harder questions.

4.     Most important – stress that the tests are important and encourage your child to do their best!!!

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS ABSENT FROM SCHOOL ON ONE OF THE DAYS?

A student who is absent from school will have 8 calendar days to make up a test.
