Class:               Advanced Global Studies 9 & 10,

                       

Materials needed daily:             Textbook/writing utensils, paper for notes, assigned worksheet.

 

Homework procedures:            Every night, usually one section of text book, almost always some written answer (mostly worksheet) entire unit homework on board.

 

Testing procedures:                   Review sheet due 1 or 2 days before test – unit test on 1 or 2 chapters – given at end of each unit (8-12 class days)

                                                Tests are multiple choice, true or false, matching, fill-in-blank, map, plus essay or short and extended.

 

Notebooks:                              Bonus book of rules, syllabus, maps, and test forms

                                                (graded at end of 9 weeks)

 

Grade Structure:                       Average of test = 60%

                                                Average of class work = 30%

                                                (worksheets, quizzes, essays, etc.)

                                                participation =10%
