Materials needed daily: Notebook, pen or pencil, calculator with paper
Homework procedures: Usually assigned 2-3 assignments each week.
Testing procedures: Tests cover one chapter at a time, usually every 11/2 –2 weeks. Each student is told 3-4 days before the test date.
Notebooks: Each student must have a notebook (3-ring binder) that they must keep all of their assignments in. May be stored in our classroom.
Additional Assignments: Labs (3-4 each quarter)
Grade Structure: Grades are based on total point system. Usually 500 – 600 points per nine weeks. Tests are 70 – 100 points. Usually 3-4 tests each quarter. Binders are 50 points due at the end of the quarter. Homework/class work is about 100 points. Quizzes are around 100 points each quarter. 3-4 quizzes each quarter between 25-30 points each. 3-4 labs each quarter 20-30 points each lab.
