Materials needed daily: Textbook, notebook, writing utensil

 

Additional materials needed:      Calculator (useful but not required)

 

Homework procedures:            There will be homework 2 – 3 nights/week.

 

Testing procedures:                   3 – 4 tests per grading period.  There will be review sessions on day prior to test.  May retake tests with scores below 75%.  Maximum score on retake is 75%.

 

Notebooks:                              Good for organization but not graded.

 

Additional Assignments:            There will be one project/grading period.  There will also be quizzes and lab reports.

 

Grade Structure:                       Each assignment is given a point value.  Tests 100 points, quizzes are 10 – 20 points, homework 3 points, project 50 – 100 points, labs 20 – 30 points.

 

Additional Information:              Tutoring is available.  Useful website is www.glencoe.com select “Ohio”, “science” and “Glencoe Physical 2002”  This website has practice quizzes and interactive vocabulary games.
