Class:               Ag Science includes Ag I, II, III, & IV

 

Materials needed daily: Paper, writing utensil, notebook.

 

Additional materials needed:      Proper safety clothing/glasses for lab.

 

Homework procedures:            Homework 1 to 2 times weekly.

 

Testing procedures:                   Tests cover one chapter/unit only.  Given usually every 3 weeks.  Quizzes given weekly, some oral, some written.  A review is always given before test day.

 

Notebooks:                              Notebooks are given to students first week of school.  The students are to keep every assignment, notes, quizzes, tests in folder in a neat orderly fashion.  Grades are taken at least once, sometimes twice a 9 weeks and are worth 25 points.

 

Additional Assignments:            Lab grades are given per day as students are in the lab.  Points are earned by being on time, participating, safety issues, clean-up, and over all attitude.

 

Grade Structure:                       600-800 points per 9 weeks

                                                100 point test               review quest 50-75 points

                                                25-50 point quizzes      vocabulary 50-75 points

                                                lab 10 points/day          homework 25-40 points

                                               

                                                FFA is an extra curricular part of Ag-Science.  An extra ¼ credit is earned through the students SAE projects.  (Better explained in the student hand out).  See the FFA program for activities and for more info!
