Materials needed daily: Book, writing instrument, lined paper

 

Homework procedures:            Homework is given 2-3 days per week.  Students are given time in class to work and may complete the work.  Homework is due the next day.

 

Testing procedures:                   Tests are usually given every 2-3 weeks.  Students are told what information or book pages will be covered on the test.

 

Additional Assignments:            Papers, book reports, etc. will be assigned periodically.  Class time and resources will be available to complete the assignments.  Late projects/papers will result in lost points.

 

Grade Structure:                       Tests, quizzes, and lengthy written assignments will be worth 100 points.  Short writings and class and homework assignments are worth 20 points.

 

Additional Information:              Extra credit points (5) are available weekly for completing a short written assignment that is posted in the room.  Any points received are added to the grade points accumulated for the quarter.
