Class:               Algebra I

 

Materials needed daily: Book, notebook, pencil

 

Additional materials needed:      Possibly calculator

 

Homework procedures:            Homework is assigned 2-3 days per week

 

Testing procedures:                   Tests usually cover ½ of the chapter and then the entire chapter.

 

Notebooks:                              Students are expected to take notes on a daily basis.  They should use them to study for quizzes and tests.

 

Additional Assignments:            There will be 1 or 2 projects

 

Grade Structure:                       Grades are based on a points system of approximately 300-400 points.  Tests are usually 50% of class grade quizzes 25%, homework 10%, class work 10%, notebook 5%.
