Class:               Integrated Math III

 

Materials needed daily: Book, Writing Utensil, Notebook

 

Additional materials needed:      Ruler, Protractor, Compass, Calculator for home use

                                                These tools are provided for classroom use.

 

Homework procedures:            Short homework assignments are usually assigned daily.

 

Testing procedures:                   Quizzes are given after 2 or 3 lessons.  There are usually 3 or 4 quizzes per chapter.  Tests are given at the end of each chapter.  Each chapter takes about 3 weeks.  Chapter review is assigned 2 days before each test.

 

Notebooks:                              Students are expected to take notes each day and use them and their books to prepare for quizzes and tests.

 

Additional Assignments:            A Chapter Project may be assigned with each chapter.  This assignment counts as Quiz grade rather than a written grade (worth 100 points).

 

Grade Structure:                       Grades are based on points.  Generally there will be 1200-1500 points each 9 weeks.  Written work counts 10 points each with a total of 100 points for the 9 weeks.  Quizzes count 100 points each.  Chapter tests count 300 points each.
