Materials needed daily: Paper, pencil, agendas, personal journals

 

Additional materials needed:      Items mentioned in classroom discussions.  Items purchased by the school will not be distributed until art fees are paid.

 

Homework procedures:            Expect students to retrieve personal items, make observations, record observations, not litter.

 

Testing procedures:                   Semester exams will be given during class using assessment rubric.

 

Notebooks:                              Folder – journal with accumulated daily and weekly skill activities.

 

Additional Assignments:            Students will be asked to bring in items such as empty egg cartons, newspaper, etc. for personal use.

 

Grade Structure:                       Self-guided rubric assessment is provided in course syllabus.  Example – weekly assessment rubric

 

Additional Information:              Students were given a syllabus to be signed, read and discussed with parent/guardian on August 29th, 2005.  Signed syllabus was due on Sept. 2, 2005.
