Class: Regular English 10

Materials needed daily: Textbook, notebook, writing utensil

Additional materials needed: Supplemental novel, etc. supplied by teacher.

Homework procedures: Students will have homework at least 2-3 times per week. No late homework is accepted unless absence is excused by the office. No make up homework for partial credit.

Testing procedures: Students will be tested every 2-3 weeks or more frequently depending upon the material being covered.

Notebooks: Students should take notes daily and use them to complete homework and prepare for tests.

Additional Assignments: Research projects and creative writing projects are required depending on the unit being studied.

Grade Structure: Daily grades include homework, quizzes, and other assignments. Tests and projects are weighted double. All grading is on a 100 point system.

Additional Information: Opportunity for extra credit is given to the entire class, not on an individual need basis.
