Materials needed daily: Book, notebook, writing instrument, journal

 

Additional materials needed:      Colored pencils, journal book, newspapers, magazines

 

Homework procedures:            Given 2-3 days per week

 

Testing procedures:                   Taken every 2-3 weeks over 1-2 chapters.  Review day the day before every test.  Not usually testing on Mondays.

 

Notebooks:                              These are REQUIRED!

Collected at end of each nine week grading period.  Every assignment, handout, etc. to be placed in notebook. 

 

Additional Assignments:            Newspapers and computers will be used periodically.  We will complete articles on Fridays.  These are prepared at home then brought to class.  We will also complete projects towards end of semester.  Journal entries will be completed.

 

Grade Structure:                       Grades are based on points.  Generally they are based on 300-400 points pr nine weeks.
