Meadowbrook High SchoolTeacher:           Bill Goodwin

Class:               Global 10

Materials needed daily: Textbook, Buckle Down book, pen or pencil, paper.

Homework procedures:            Most graded assignments will be completed in class.  There will be reading assignments daily.

Testing procedures:                   Written tests will be given at the end of each chapter or approximately every two weeks.

Notebooks:                              Students are required to maintain a folder of all graded exercises (quizzes and tests) and notes.  These will be turned in for evaluation one week prior to the end of each nine week grading period.  Folders will constitute approx. 15% of each 9 weeks grade.

Grade Structure:                       9 week grade will consist of all points accumulated divided by total points possible, ie. Class work points have the same value as test points.

Additional Information:              All graded assignments are posted on the calendar beside classroom door.  If a students misses a day of class it is their responsibility to get this work and turn it in unless other arrangements are made.  The student has the same amount of time to make up an assignment as was missed.  Tests are always announced and reviewed several days before the actual test date.  Absences on the day prior to a test are not considered good excuses for not taking a test on time.
