Homework procedures:            Homework will be assigned at least 1 to 2 times per week and sometimes more.

Testing procedures:                   Projects are tests, but with everything we read there will be either a quiz or a test.  These come at the end of chapters and stories.

Notebooks:                              Students are expected to write in their journal everyday.  They are also required to record their grades in their agendas.

Additional Assignments:            The projects we do in class, are a large part of the learning process in English 9.  They are individual and collaborative in nature.

Grade Structure:                       Grades are based on points.  On average a student will have anywhere from 250-375 points available each 9 weeks.  A major project averages around 75 points.  Tests average the same.
