Gifted
Program-
 | The Coshocton City
Elementary gifted program is referred to as the Sequoia
program. This is a program for identified gifted
and talented students through evaluation and/or
recommendations. |
Special Education-
| Special Education
Services and Related Services are available to students
who qualify through the proper evaluation and placement
procedures. |
Intervention Assistance
Teams -
| Intervention
Assistance Teams are provided for establishing
appropriate educational procedures for children
experiencing difficulty. Team members may include
the following: school psychologist, building principal,
guidance counselor, teachers, school nurse, agency
representatives, speech/language therapist, and
parents. |
Opportunity School -
| The Opportunity
School is an after school program for at-risk students
and is designed so that they can take regular high
school classes in an effort to attain their high school
diploma. |
