BUCKEYE LOCAL LPDC
FEBRUARY MEETING
2006

The following items were discussed during the February meeting held at the Jefferson County Educational Service Center:

1. The next date for the Jefferson County LPDC is March 15, 2006. The January 2006 meeting was cancelled. Teachers who are renewing certificates, transferring to a license or renewing a 5-year license need to have their renewal packet AND new IPDP sent to Carol Webb at the Central Office a week before this date so she can process and send to JCESC.
    

2. IPDP - All staff members should have received a copy of the NEW IPDP. If you need a copy, contact an LPDC committee member or go to the BL website. Revisions will be made to this new form as we try to make it more user friendly, but we will use this form as is to process those who are renewing now.
    
3. IPDP Verification Form - The verification form that you will be getting back from the LPDC is also being revised and shortened. Always contact an LPDC committee member or call JCESC if you have not received verification that your renewal packet and IPDP have been processed. Please allow at least ten days from the date of the LPDC monthly meeting.
    
4. Available in each building is the revised listing list of Approved On-Line Colleges and Universities Outside of Ohio. There are now 27
   approved. One college on this list is in OH - Notre Dame College (Ohio).
    
5. Available in each building is the current Jefferson County LPDC membership list.
